The Timmins Senior Centre, District 2A is a part of the OSGA. We do not participate in the Ontario 55+ Winter Games because of the difficulty of travel in winter and certain Games are not something we participate in the North.
For our members to attend the Ontario 55+ Summer Games, it starts for us as a four day trip. We have 2 travel days and the fun starts on the bus and ends on the bus after a great time participating in the Games.
We have a good membership of 500+ seniors that enjoy many games such as: Bowling, Table Shuffleboard, Floor Shuffleboard, Carpet Bowling, Floor Curl, Darts and a variety of cards: Euchre, Bid Euchre, Cribbage & Duplicate Bridge. Many members drop in to play Billiards, use our gym room, or enjoy chair yoga and chair Zumba.
Our social club holds many dances and card tournaments.
